The world is a paradox: on the one hand ekes out our poultry a bleak existence in dormitories; on the other hand the Lucky-Ones  among them enjoy a rich life of luxury in a modern stiyled chicken-villa. Trigger for this trend is probably the Rurbanism connected the longing of the metropolitan man from nature and the ecologically sustainable agriculture.

We munched used to be rather harmless one or the other BBQ chicken, chicken burgers and chicken wings, one wonders today more often: “Where the bird comes from? “With all pleasure, not a bad conscience would like. And there is cheating and betubbt so much in the chicken trade, more and more people enjoy their own egg products. Clever architects and designers have of course immediately sensed the need for individual solutions for accommodation and responded promptly.

The Dutch designer Frederic Roijé developed an elegant villa for chickens of dark wood on several levels with panoramic windows, the „Breed Retreat“. In this setting, the purist modern comfort hen lays probably much tastier eggs.

In the UK, the hen-house design to an almost complete thing. The British chicken can go in almost upright, with erected crest. It lives in the precious egg  „Nogg“ . Registered traps is the British designer Matthew Hayward: Handmade scented cedar wood, the antibacterial effect of nature and then as “convertible” . The glass roof can be turned up to let fresh air into the henhouse .
