booed, insulted and blamed by some of the guild of the old farmers, remains “our Cowboy” fearlessly on line and stands up for his convictions – Chapeau Mr. Minister! Dr. Robert Habeck is no fool. Just like his neighbor, Minister of Lower Saxony, Christian Meyer. Both good fighters for the green shift, which we need so desperately! Of course, the side of the farmers is not easy, suddenly comes as a stiff breeze and blows the long seed grains of their association and the industry into the outback. Hard stuff for a North German, it needs time to get used to it.
Yesterday on behalf of the waste and the sea:
On 10/30/2015 in ST. Peter-Ording the Minister helped at a waste collection campaign in Schleswig-Holsteins Sea National Park. Plastic waste is a terrible global problem. Not only that, the animals, birds, seals, fish, etc. entangled in plastic nets and then perish away miserably, they also suffer because the plastic does not decompose. The small parts are eaten and got so into the food chain. This also makes us sick!
Under the direction of the country operation for Coastal Defence, National Park and Conservation (LKN) a broad alliance of conservation and tourism organizations have therefore organized the waste at the Schleswig-Holstein North Sea coast declared war – to raise awareness with the aim for the topic of waste in nature. Under the motto “Watt’n garbage”, a fund-raising will now place every 30th of a month.
Only one question remains generally: When will the plastic bags are completely prohibited in trade?
